Sticky Chinese Cornfed Chicken Drumsticks
1 tray Game Farm cornfed chicken drumsticks
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 strip orange rind
2 star anise
1 pinch chinese five spice powder
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
2/3 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup oyster sauce 2 spring onions, finely sliced, to serve
Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced).
Whisk together all of the ingredients until well combined.
Put the cornfed chicken into an oven proof dish, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Remove cover, baste and cook for a further 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Garnish with green onions and serve with steamed rice.
